THE RUNDOWN
SAN ANTONIO, Texas –
KATIE MARTIN's 17 kills on a .432 hitting mark were unable to put St. Edward's University over the top as the Hilltoppers fell at St. Mary's 25-16, 23-25, 25-16, 25-15 at Bill Greeehey Arena Saturday in Heartland Conference play.
The senior, Martin, had arguably her best offensive output of the season with 17 kills and just one attacking error on 37 attempts. However, aside from Martin, the Hilltoppers (14-8, 4-4) hit just .040 as a team.
