DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Junior Isabel Hernandez scored a career-high 21 points Tuesday, but it was not enough as the St. Edward's University women's basketball team fell to Embry-Riddle 68-60 in the finale of the Daytona Beach Shootout at the ICI Center.

BAILEY HILL scored in double digits as well with 11 points on the day.
HALEY JOLY and
ABBY HOPPER tied for the game high with nine rebounds apiece. Hopper also led SEU with four assists. She has 10 assists in her last two games.
The Hilltoppers (6-7) scored 22 points in the second quarter as they shot 55-percent from the field to take a 34-32 lead into halftime. However, the Eagles (9-2) opened the third period on a 16-0 run to retake the lead and never looked back.

• Hernandez has scored in double-digits in back-to-back games. She leads the team with nine double-digit scoring performances this season.
