Guillory’s Double Digits Not Enough on the Road

St. Edward’s falls to St. Mary’s, 72-48

SAN ANTONIO – SAUNDRA GUILLORY scored a season-high 11 points Saturday, but it was not enough as St. Edward's women's basketball fell to St. Mary's, 72-48.

QUOTE BOARD: HEAD COACH J.J. RIEHL
"Today was a tough one. We liked our preparation, and felt good about things going in. St. Mary's came right at us from the opening jump and we didn't adjust mentally. I felt like they had a greater sense of urgency than us. Emotionally, we just weren't good. Despite the loss we still control our own destiny. We will get back to being us and enjoy being back home this week."
