TOP QUOTES
SEU Head Coach Mary Dejute on the win over West Georgia
"It was a well-balanced win over UWG. Our serve receive was on, which allowed us to control the tempo of the match. Offensively we solid play and our back court defense was scrappy."

DeJute on the loss to Eckerd …
"Our serve receive didn't allow us to follow our game plan. Eckerd was a very strong team with a quick offense. Our blockers struggled to control the net, which hurt our defense. We need a more consistent offense in order to be successful moving forward."

DeJute on the takeaway from the weekend …
"Overall, I am very pleased with the weekend. Everyone contributed. We see how we can play and the areas we need to focus on in practice. It's a process and the players understand that it takes one step at a time. They will continue to work hard and I'm confident we will make the adjustments needed."

WHAT'S NEXT
SEU takes its turn playing host to a tournament with the Hilltopper Classic Friday and Saturday. SEU's first opponent is Southern Arkansas Friday at 11 a.m. at the RCC.
