THEY SAID IT
SEU Head Coach J.J. Riehl on the late St. Mary's run …
"I think it was [Tia Mason] the post off the bench. She got an and-one, she missed the free throw and we just weren't in the right spot, we weren't in the correct and ready position and it just kind of snowballed from there. It was just St. Mary's doing what St. Mary's does, and in the end, I think they wanted it more than us. They made plays and we didn't, it was really that simple. And, there was a lot in the game, we did a lot of things well, we just didn't finish it when we needed to finish it."
Riehl on rebounding Saturday at TAMIU …
"We just have to believe. If we want to change the outcome of what's going on, on the court, you have to change your mentality, and how you think. Really, how we believe, and we just really for so much of the time we lack confidence. So, it's just about us stay in the moment, not worry about the things that have happened before, and just trying to do what is we need to do."
