OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – St. Edward's unloaded for five goals in the opening 21 minutes en route to a 7-0 win over Oklahoma Christian Thursday.
 
KATHERINE WHITMAN started the scoring spree with a goal in the sixth minute, beating the keeper one-on-one, and added a second goal, assisted by ELIANNA CHAVEZ, in the 11th minute.
 
SARAH GUNDERSON continued her scoring streak, driving down the right side of the field, cutting back to center and expertly placing the ball in the back of the net in the 16th minute, and scored again in the 19th minute with a laser from 15 yards out, assisted by ISABELLA CAMARATA.
 
SARAH PRESTON capped off the first half scoring in the 21st minute with a blast from 20 yards out to put the Hilltoppers up 5-0 at halftime.
 
Midway through the second half SEU got back at it, scoring two goals in four minutes to put an exclamation point on the win. MORGAN PALMER, assisted by Whitman, netted the crossing ball for her second goal of the season while SYDNEY MACK scored her first after beating the keeper and placing the ball into goal in the 68th minute.
 
SEU dominated the game from start to finish, logging 31 shots, 15 on frame, in the win while allowing just four shots, all in the first half.
 
The Hilltoppers improve to 9-3-2 overall, 9-1-1 in the Heartland, with the win. They remain on the road to face Lubbock Christian on Saturday for a 1 pm kick.
