AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's scored three goals in the first half en route to a 5-0 win over Dallas Baptist Saturday.
DYLAN ARMSTRONG got the Hilltoppers on the board in the 13th minute, netting a penalty kick. Armstrong then assisted on the next two goals as
PARKER FYFE and
IZAAC ZAUSCH scored in the 22nd and 28th minutes to give SEU a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.
It took just four minutes for St. Edward's to get rolling again as
KIERAN FURSE, assisted by
ALEXANDER TEJEDA, scored from 15 yards out on a breakaway.
Armstrong added one more goal on a penalty kick for good measure in the 67th minute to hand SEU the dominant 5-0 win.
St. Edward's improves to 4-6-1 on the year and 3-4-1 in the Heartland with the win. They remain at home to face Texas A&M International on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
