AUSTIN, Texas – The St. Edward's women's soccer team's roll continued Saturday as they remained unbeaten at home and in Heartland Conference play after defeating Dallas Baptist 1-0 and take sole possession of first place with win.
SEU was held to just one shot in the first half but exploded for six in the second half and held Dallas Baptist to no shots in the overtime period.
SARAH PRESTON netted the game-winner in the 98th minute, heading in
KATHERINE WHITMAN's service off a set play to give the Hilltoppers the win.
ANNABEL SWEENEY and the SEU defense recorded their fifth consecutive clean sheet, eighth of the season.
With the win St. Edward's improves to 7-2-2 on the year and 7-0-1 in the Heartland with the win.
