THE RUNDOWN
AUSTIN, Texas –
Despite true freshman BROOKE PANFILI torching Rogers State for 17 points Thursday night, St. Edward's University was unable to overcome a slow start and fell 63-51 at the Claremore Expo Center.

Panfili shot a .500 clip from the floor and her 17 points matched a game-high as well as a personal career-high. She also led the team with four rebounds. BAILEY HILL was next with 16 points followed by ISABEL HERNANDEZ who registered ten points.

The Hillcats (8-13, 3-6) went wire-to-wire in the win, setting the tone early by outscoring the Hilltoppers (10-13, 4-7) 17-4 in the opening frame and grew their lead to as many as 18 points in the first half. Down 34-23 at the break, SEU showed no give-up and Hill's triple in the third quarter minimized the deficit to single-digits, 44-36. However, RSU responded with a 10-0 run that bled into the fourth quarter and ultimately they walked away with a 63-51 win.

RSU's Nikola Nedoroscikova finished with 17 points, nine rebounds and a game-high five assist. Lauren Schuldt turned in 16 points and two blocks and Darian Jackson logged a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.
