SAN ANGELO, Texas – No. 5-ranked Angelo State (18-1) handed St. Edward's (0-15) a pair of 8-0 losses in five innings each Thursday at Mayer Field.

In game one, SEU trailed only 1-0 headed to the bottom of the fifth inning. However, with one out and a pair of runners on, the Hilltoppers committed two errors that began a snowball effect leading to seven unearned runs for the Rambelles.

In the second game, the Hilltoppers were limited to just four singles from four different players and the Rambelles scored in every inning but the second, including three in the bottom of the fifth.
