AUSTIN, Texas – Lubbock Christian (24-11, 13-8) scored in every inning and rolled to a 16-1 victory over St. Edward's (4-33, 4-17) to close the Heartland Conference series Saturday at Diane Daniels Field.

LCU's Lindzi Clemmer drove in four runs and Monique Francois threw five innings of one-hit ball for her third win vs. SEU this season to lead the Lady Chaps. After leading 6-0, SEU scored its only run in the bottom of the second on a throwing error, and from there LCU added seven more runs to close the game in a run-rule.

SEU split with the Lady Chaps Friday, but LCU took four of five games from the Hilltoppers in the five-game Heartland set played in Lubbock and Austin with the win.
