ALEXA MCANDREWÂ has been tabbed the Raising Cane's Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
McAndrew led the Hilltopper volleyball team to a pair of sweeps against Lone Star Conference foes last week. The Eureka, Mo., native posted match highs with 22.5 points and 20 kills in a 3-0 victory against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday night. She also added 11 digs to post a double-double. A day later, McAndrew logged 10 winners, hitting at a .500 clip, and three service aces in a 3-0 win over Texas A&M International.
