Box Score TYLER, Texas – With three games remaining in the conference schedule the St. Edward's men's soccer team traveled to UT Tyler Thursday evening and secured a 1-1 double overtime tie and sit in third place in the LSC standings.

CHEN ADJEI, put the Hilltoppers up 1-0 just 15 minutes into the contest. SEU controlled the tempo throughout the half, rocketing off seven shots while allowing just three.
UT Tyler got the equalizer in the 78
th minute off a corner kick, tying the contest 1-1. Neither team could net the game-winner in regulation, forcing SEU into their third overtime contest of the season.
As the match rolled into extra time both teams had their chances to secure the win, but neither team was able to net the game winner, ending in a tie.
SEU had a slight advantage in shots, 16-15, and led 4-3 in corners.
With the tie, St. Edward's moves to 6-6-3 on the year, 5-1-2 in Lone Star Conference play. They return to action on Thursday, November 7, facing Midwestern State at 7 pm.
