WICHITA FALLS – The St. Edward's women's soccer team continued their run through Lone Star Conference play, defeating Midwestern State 1-0 Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten in conference action at 4-0 on the season.

It took less than a minute for SEU's impressive offensive to strike as

ANNIE HALLS, scored just 43 seconds into the contest.

The Hilltoppers had numerous good looks throughout the remainder of the match, including out shooting MSU 8-3 in the opening frame. The defense has been tough all year and today was no exception as the Hilltoppers closed out the match for the shutout.

SEU led 11-3 on shots and 7-2 on corner kicks.
ANNABEL SWEENEY posted two saves to record the win in goal.

The Hilltoppers improve to 5-4-0 on the year and return home to face UT Permian Basin on Thursday at Lewis-Chen Field for a 4:30 pm kickoff.
