St. Edward's earns No. 3 seed, bye in LSC Championship

AUSTIN – St. Edward's earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Lone Star Conference Championship, which will be hosted by Texas A&M-Commerce Nov. 21-23 in Commerce.

The Hilltoppers (18-8) picked up one of the top three seeds after winning their division, which the team clinched following last Friday's win at Texas A&M International. St. Edward's also received a bye in the opening round and will play the winner of No. 6 seed UAFS and 11th-seeded Texas A&M-Kingsville at 12 p.m. Thursday.
