KANSAS CITY, Mo. – PARKER FYFE has been tabbed first-team Scholar All-West Region by the United Soccer Coaches, the organization announced in a release on Monday.
Fyfe, a senior forward, boasts a 3.62 GPA while working toward a bachelor's degree in finance. He also is pursuing a minor in accounting.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must hold a 3.3 cumulative GPA, have started more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contributed to their team. They must also be nominated by their head coach and be a junior or above in academic standing.
