KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two St. Edward's men's soccer student-athletes were named to the United Soccer Coaches all-region teams, which were announced by the organization on Monday.
JEREMY BISCHOFF landed on the second team, while
PARKER FYFE collected third-team honors.
Bischoff, a sophomore defender, started 17 games for the Hilltoppers in the 2019 season. The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder anchored a defensive unit that tallied five shutouts. Bischoff, a native of Hohenems, Austria, also scored one goal and was a second-team All-Lone Star Conference selection.
Fyfe, a senior forward, is a consensus all-region selection. Last month, the Austin native earned first-team all-region honors from D2CCA. Fyfe led St. Edward's in nearly every offensive category. He posted 17 total points on seven goals and three assists. Fyfe also was a first-team all-conference pick.
The Hilltoppers reached the semifinals of the LSC Tournament and finished the year with a 8-8-3 overall record.
