AUSTIN – The 27th-ranked St. Edward's men's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 victory over Texas-Tyler in the regular-season finale on Thursday at Austin Tennis Academy.

The Hilltoppers (17-6) swept the three doubles matchups to claim the early point and then earned six more wins in singles action. All but one of the singles matchups were decided in straight sets.

St. Edward's honored all four of its senior student-athletes at the match. All four also won their singles contests, including
CHASE MOREHOUSE who provided the clinching point. Morehouse picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles.

Meanwhile,
NICO MERCADO and
MATEUS DE COL also rolled to straight-sets wins.
LOGAN BUIGNET collected a 6-1, 6-7, 1-0 (10-4) win at the third position.

The Hilltoppers will enter the Heartland Conference Championship as the top seed. The tournament will be played Friday-Saturday, April 26-27, at the Arlington Tennis Center in Arlington.
