AUSTIN – The No. 13 St. Edward's men's tennis program earned two wins Friday to kick off the dual-match season at the Austin Tennis Academy. The Hilltoppers earned 6-1 victories over Concordia Texas and Southwestern to start the campaign.
MATCH ONE NOTES
• St. Edward's won two of three doubles matchups to take the first point.
• The Hilltoppers then claimed five of the six singles contests, dropping only the top flight.
• Four of the five singles wins were in straight sets.

PATRYK KOSINSKI won his contest in three sets at the No. 2 position.
MATCH TWO NOTES
• SEU set the tone early winning all three doubles competitions.
• The 'Toppers claimed five of the six singles tilts, dropping only the fourth line.

ANISH SRINIKETH and
CHASE BARTLETT both earned identical 6-1, 6-2 wins at Nos. 1 and 2 positions, respectively.
•
GABRIEL ZUNIGA collected a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at the fifth spot.
UP NEXT
The Hilltoppers will travel to Midlothian next weekend to play a pair of matches. St. Edward's will take on Ouachita Baptist Friday, Feb. 7 and West Alabama the following day.
