MIDLOTHIAN – The No. 13 St. Edward's men's tennis program continued its winning ways in a 5-2 victory over Ouachita Baptist Friday afternoon.

St. Edward's started brightly, winning two of three doubles matches to claim the first point. The 13
th-ranked doubles team of
CHASE BARTLETT and
ANISH SRINIKETH opened the scoring with a 6-2 win over Dan Kaplun and Tobias Fuerschuss, and eventually
LUIS DIAZ and reigning LSC Player of the Week
ZAC ROBINSON secured the doubles point in a 7-6 victory over Santiago Kearney and Carlos Solorzano.

St. Edward's continued this momentum into singles, with
GABRIEL ZUNIGA winning 6-0, 6-4 in #5 singles and Sriniketh, who is fourth in the nation, followed suit in #1 singles, winning 6-1, 6-3 to put SEU up 3-0. Diaz fell in his #4 singles matchup (2-6, 1-6), but was followed by victories from
ABHI RAMIREDDY at #6 singles (6-2, 6-3) and Bartlett, the nation's 24
th-ranked singles player, who took it to three sets but secured the point at the second flight (6-4, 4-6, 1-0).
JESSE WIKSO was narrowly defeated in three panels (6-3, 3-6, 7-5) at the third spot.

The Hilltoppers remain undefeated and improved to 3-0 on the year with this victory. They return to action Saturday against No. 16 West Alabama in Midlothian. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m.
