WACO – The No.12 St. Edward's men's tennis team got back to its winning ways in an impressive 4-2 victory over 22nd-ranked Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday.

St. Edward's wrapped up the doubles point with victories on courts 2 and 3.Â
LUIS DIAZ and
ZAC ROBINSON downed Jason Roberts and Milos Vuckovic, 6-3 at No. 3 doubles, and the 4th-ranked team of
ABHI RAMIREDDY and
JESSE WIKSO defeated the 25th-ranked duo of Juan Scoppetta and Manuel Pilotto, 6-4, at the second spot to clinch the opening point.

The Hilltoppers continued their momentum in singles play, with Diaz putting SEU up 2-0 at the sixth position. A huge match up on court 2 saw 24th-rankedÂ
CHASE BARTLETT take down No. 9 Manuel Pilotto in straight sets (6-4, 6-4). Southeastern Oklahoma fought back with wins at the first and fifth lines to pull within one.
GABRIEL ZUNIGA had the honor of securing the victory for SEU in a tightly contested match against Milos Vuckovic, taking it to three sets before downing him, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

With this win, the Hilltoppers move to 6-1 on the season. SEU is back in action this Sunday at 1:30 p.m against No. 15 Hawaii-Hilo in Waco.
