DALLAS - St. Edward's women's soccer dropped their first Lone Star Conference match of the season, falling 7-0 to #10 DBU Wednesday afternoon.
The Patriots got their first goal in the second minute and never looked back, using a steady stream of goals to lead 3-0 at halftime.
St. Edward's outshot DBU in the second half, but were unable to get anything on the scoreboard as the Patriots picked up where they left off, netting four more goals in the second half to secure the win.
The Hilltoppers trailed 16-10 in shots and 10-6 in shots on goal but led 8-3 in corner kicks.
Ashely Wilson led offensively for SEU, posting three shots, all on frame.
TRISTYN CABELLO added two shots, one on frame.
St. Edward's drops to 6-3-2 on the season and 4-1-1 in LSC action. They return home to host UT Permian Basin on Saturday with kickoff set for 4 pm with Senior Day recognition happening prior to the contest.
