AUSTIN – The St. Edward's women's soccer team fired off shots all game, but UT Tyler was the only one able to put the ball into the back of the net to hand SEU a 1-0 loss Wednesday.

St. Edward's fired off shot after shot in the second half but were just off frame. UTT had few good looks at goal, but were able to score the game-winner on a touch shot after the ball bounced around in front of goal in the 69
th minute.
SARAH GUNDERSON nearly had the equalizer in the final minute, but her shot was saved to keep the Patriot's win intact.
The Hilltopper led 24-10 in shots with eight on frame, earning four corner kicks while allowing just one.
SEU falls to 7-6-2 on the year and 5-4-1 in Lone Star Conference play. They return to the road to face Lubbock Christian on Saturday at 1 pm.
