PORTALES, N.M. – St. Edward's men's soccer was defeated on the road by the Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) Greyhounds, losing 3-1. 
 
St. Edward's had two early offside violations, and ENMU struck in the 10th minute when Felix Drizinsky found Alexandre Meres on a cross for the goal to the top left corner. Both teams generated four shots in the first half, but ENMU keeper Paul Washkau stopped both Hilltopper shots on goal for the 1-0 lead at the break. 
 
The Greyhounds added another goal when Drizinsky collected his second assist of the day, finding Nick Huenig on a cross to the top of the box for the score. Loris Tsiatsipy added the third goal when he got a deflected pass and put the ball into the bottom right corner. 
 
MARTIN TELLEZ scored for St. Edward's in the 78th minute on a deep shot from outside the box into the top right of the net. 
 
St. Edward's drops to 0-7-4 and 0-2-2- in conference play. The Hilltoppers will travel to San Antonio on Wednesday to play St. Mary's.
