CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Several St. Edward's Track and Field athletes competed in Lee University Last Chance Meet on Saturday.
NIGUSOM KNIGHT was the lone men's athlete to make the trip, placing 11th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:36.23. It was his second-fastest time in the event this season, trailing only his school-record 14:30.62 set at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
FAITH BROTHERS, JORDAN SANDERS, and CAROLINE WILDRICK competed in the women's 5,000-meter run. Brothers paced the Hilltoppers with a 17th-place finish, clocking in at 18:29.511. Sanders finished in 20th with a time of 18:37.04, and Wildrick clocked an 18:39.23 to finish 21st.
AUDREY WISTAIN, JULIANA MERLO, HAILEY RODRIGUEZ, MIA RIVERA, VICTORIA HINOJOSA, AMARI SINGLETON, ELLIE HOVRE, SEBASTIAN KORAN, GABRIEL LOPEZ, MARCUS AGUINALDO, and TYRIQ WILSON will compete tomorrow at the Trinity Last Chance Meet.
