Simon Fraser University released the DII Canadian Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team, naming St. Edward's women's basketball point guard J.P. Perkins to the five-woman team.

J.P. averaged 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, shooting 53.1 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from the 3-point line. St. Edward's went 0-3 over the weekend but were highly competitive against the No. 4 and 11-ranked teams in the nation, pulling to within one or two possessions during the fourth quarter in those games.Â

St. Edward's will host the women's basketball South Central Regional Crossover this weekend. The Hilltoppers' home opener is Friday against Regis at 6:00 p.m. They play Colorado School of Mines on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
