AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's women's basketball surrendered 31 free-throw attempts and nine made 3-pointers in a 92-74 loss to Texas A&M-International.

ISABEL LANGENBERG scored 15 points off the bench to lead three Hilltoppers in double figures. Starters BAILEY FEATHERSTONE and JAYDA RUFFUS-MILNER combined for 26.

Texas A&M-International opened the game shooting early and often from behind the 3-point line, shooting 5-for-10 from deep in the first quarter, led by Samiyah Worrell's eight points on 3-for-3 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers to lead 28-15 after the first quarter.

Ruffus-Milner settled the Hilltoppers on offense, making quick moves from the elbow to get to the free-throw line, hitting 4-of-7, and scoring six points in a 22-point quarter for the Hilltoppers. St. Edward's shot 8-for-15 from the field in the second but struggled to contain Raiana Brown, who scored 10 points. Brown's work inside opened outside shots, and the Dustdevils hit 3-for-4 to take a 54-37 lead.

Brown scored 17 points on ten shots at the half, and TAMIU hit 19 for 32, including 8 for 14 from deep. Ruffus-Milner finished half with 10 points.

Texas A&M-International extended its lead in the third quarter by forcing ten turnovers and getting to the free-throw line, getting 10 points from Brown on 3-for-3 shooting from the field and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.

Langenberg started the fourth quarter for the Hilltoppers and was a bright spot in the game, going off for 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting, hitting half of her four 3-point attempts. Langenberg shot confidently and on the move, providing spacing for St. Edward's.
