AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's Athletics announces the launch of its new G.O.A.T. Athletics Fund in congruence with St. Edward's University's annual Love Blue, Give Gold fundraising campaign on September 26 and 27. 
 
"St. Edward's is buzzing with excitement! We're honoring our legacy by celebrating the 50th anniversary of women's basketball and volleyball while embracing our future with the Lucas family's generous renaming of the RAC court. As we upgrade our facilities, including new lights for the soccer field, we're not just improving spaces – we're elevating experiences. Our new athletics fund is the cornerstone of this vision, empowering our community to invest in our student-athletes directly through scholarships and transformative opportunities. Together, we're not just reaching new heights on the Hilltop – we're redefining them."
 
Membership in the G.O.A.T. (Giving Opportunities to Achieve and Thrive) Athletics Fund begins at $18.85, in honor of the university's founding in 1885, and comes with a St. Edward's sticker.
 
The new athletics fund has multiple tiers of giving, with cumulative benefits increasing at each tier. At $250, members receive a branded gift; at $500, they receive premium season ticket seat placement. St. Edward's will also launch a new hospitality room at home games and unique event invitations for members giving at the $1,000 level. Members who give at the $2,500 level will receive a coach for a day experience and team meet and greet.

Love Blue, Give Gold launches university-wide on September 26 as a 48-hour funding drive with donor-matching challenges and multiple incentives, which can all be tracked on the athletics' campaign page. People can also choose to be advocates, signing up to track the number of clicks, gifts, and dollars they generate. 
 
During the Love Blue, Give Gold campaign, contributors may donate to their favorite athletics program, general athletics, or athletic training by selecting it from the giving page's dropdown menu. All Love Blue, Give Gold donations will be counted towards G.O.A.T. Athletics Fund membership.
