The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly awards, naming St. Edward's men's soccer goalkeeper ANGEL RAMIREZ its Goalkeeper of the Week for his performances in two conference contests last week. 
 
St. Edward's earned a point with a draw against Sul Ross State, and Ramirez earned a clean-sheet victory in the Battle of the Saints.

Liam Kervick, Midwestern State, F, Jr., Finance, Poland
Midwestern State junior forward Liam Kervick contributed to both game-winners against UT Tyler and Oklahoma Christian. Kervick scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 home win over UT Tyler. He then assisted on the game-winning score in a 2-0 victory against Oklahoma Christian. Kervick's performances helped the No. 22-ranked Mustangs to three straight wins and five victories over their last six matches.
 
DEFENSIVE
Davis Mays, Midwestern State, D, Gr., Criminal Justice, Wichita Falls, Texas
Midwestern State graduate student and defender Davis Mays led a backline that did not allow a goal over two conference wins against UT Tyler and Oklahoma Christian. Mays and company went on the road and kept OC off the scoreboard for just the second time this season. Mays' play has helped the No. 22-ranked Mustangs to three straight victories and five wins over their last six matches.
 
GOALKEEPER

St. Edward's junior goalkeeper ANGEL RAMIREZ helped fuel an unbeaten week with a shutout and 11 saves against Sul Ross State and St. Mary's. In a 2-0 win over St. Mary's, Ramirez made seven stops. Ramirez earned a draw on the road against SRSU, which had won two matches in a row. He played all 180 minutes of the two conference games.
