AUSTIN, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly women's basketball awards, naming St. Edward's point guard SUNI DAVIS its Offensive Player of the Week for Week 5 after she led the Hilltoppers to two wins.

St. Edward's junior guard SUNI DAVIS averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 steals and 2.5 assists over two wins against Colorado Christian and Western Colorado. Davis scored a combined 21 points in the fourth quarter and was 20-for-20 from the free-throw line. She also added five defensive rebounds and made three 3-pointers. In a 63-60 comeback win over Colorado Christian, Davis scored nine points over the final 6:35 and made all four of her free throws in the final minute to tie the game at 60 and create the final result. On the season, Davis is 37-for-37 from the charity stripe.
