INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee announced the field of 64 teams that will compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship during Sunday night's selection show, listing St. Edward's among the 64 teams.
The committee awarded St. Edward's (21-12) the fifth seed in the South Central Regional with Lone Star Conference champion Dallas Baptist hosting. The Hilltoppers will face Midwestern State (22-7) in the first round on Saturday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. The winner of that game will play the winner of the DBU and Regis game on Sunday. The Regional championship is on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.
The regional winner will advance to the Elite Eight, which will be held March 25-29 at Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
