Dillon received her degree in Criminal Justice with a perfect 4.0 GPA, earning St. Edward's women's Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Scholar Award for the graduating senior with the highest cumulative GPA. The Lone Star Conference also named her to its All-Academic Team.Â
St. Edward's right fielder also put together a stellar season on the field, earning All-LSC First Team honors and D2CCA All-Region Second Team, hitting .423 and recording 29 steals, the fourth-best season in St. Edward's softball history in both statistical categories.Â
Each institution's sports information office makes up to five Academic All-District nominations. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and have either participated in 90 percent of their team's games or started in at least 66 percent of the season's games. Pitchers must have at least 17 appearances or pitched at least 35 innings.
Student-athletes with postseason athletic and academic accolades are eligible for Academic All-American consideration, determined by CSC member votes.Â
