The Lone Star Conference announced its 2025 LSC Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll, ranking St. Edward's fourth in the conference and listing sophomore
ARLO GONZALES and senior
AJ PENA as runners to watch.
Gonzales posted a strong collegiate debut season, earning an LSC Freshman Runner of the Week, and was the fourth Hilltopper to cross the finish line at the LSC Championships, placing 27th overall and helping the team earn second place. Pena finished just outside St. Edward's top five at the LSC Championships, placing 37th overall.
St. Edward's opens its season on September 6 at the UT Tyler Cross Country Open. This year's LSC Championships are at the AP Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 24. The NCAA DII South Central Regional is scheduled for November 8 at the Walking Stick Golf Club in Pueblo, Colorado, and the NCAA DII National Championship is set for November 22 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
