| By:

AUSTIN, Texas — CONNOR COX continued to add to his storied resume, headlining three Hilltoppers named to the Lone Star Conference Baseball All-Conference teams, the league announced.

Cox and pitcher CONNOR FREEMAN earned All-LSC First Team honors, while outfielder KADE NATHMAN was named to the All-LSC Third Team. Senior right fielder DYLAN TATE also earned a spot on the LSC All-Defensive Team, and Freeman and TREVOR SEBEK were selected to the LSC All-Academic Team.

Cox leads St. Edward's with a .398 batting average, 68 hits, 56 runs, 13 home runs, 62 RBIs, and a .731 slugging percentage. He ranks among the conference leaders in nearly every major offensive category, including first in home runs and slugging percentage, second in RBIs, third in batting average and total bases, fifth in walks, and seventh in hits. Cox is also the program's all-time leader in hits, doubles, and RBIs.

Freeman emerged as the Hilltoppers' ace in his first season at St. Edward's. The junior left-hander started 14 games, posting an 8-2 record with two complete games, including a nine-inning shutout. He earned LSC Pitcher of the Week honors twice and ranked third in the conference in ERA (3.33), third in wins, sixth in WHIP (1.35), and seventh in hits allowed per nine innings (8.44).

Nathman broke into the lineup midway through his sophomore season and quickly became a steady presence, highlighted by a grand slam in his first collegiate start. He is batting .356 with 52 hits, 32 runs, seven doubles, five home runs, and 19 stolen bases while recording 102 putouts and helping turn two double plays in center field.

Tate was named to the LSC All-Defensive Team after recording 93 putouts, six assists, one double play, and a .990 fielding percentage in right field.

Sebek earned LSC All-Academic Team honors for the third consecutive year. A four-year starter, Sebek held the highest cumulative GPA among graduating St. Edward's student-athletes last year, finished his undergraduate degree early, and continued to excel while pursuing his master's degree. On the field, he hit .292 with 30 RBIs and 44 runs scored this season while breaking the program's career records for walks (107), starts (211), and games played (213).

St. Edward's is 31-20 overall with a 31-18 conference record and is ranked sixth in the latest NCAA South Central Regional rankings as the Hilltoppers await a potential NCAA Regional bid.
