AUSTIN, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly volleyball awards Tuesday, naming St. Edward's junior ALTHEA MORRIS the conference's Setter of the Week.

Morris averaged 10.44 assists per set over four matches at the Mountain Lion Classic, guiding the Hilltoppers to victories over South Dakota Mines and Midwestern State. She recorded at least 43 assists in three matches, including 48 against South Dakota Mines—the most by an LSC setter in a four-set match this season.

The Los Angeles native contributed across the rotation with 49 digs, seven service aces, two kills and two blocks. Her performance also earned her a spot on the Mountain Lion Classic All-Tournament Team.

St. Edward's returns to action this weekend at the LSC Challenge in Odessa, Texas.
