Junior (2015): Appeared and started in 18 matches at defensive midfielder, totaling 1,464 minutes of work…scored six goals, which included four off of penalty kicks…four of his goals were game-winners, which led the team, including the game-winner in double overtime of the Heartland Conference Tournament Championship (11/7).
Sophomore (2014): Started all 20 matches at the defensive midfield position totaling 1,563 minutes of work…scored one goal and dished out another…scored his only goal of the season on a penalty kick goal in a 2-1 victory over Oklahoma Christian (10/6).
Freshman (2013): As a new Hilltopper he played and started in 16 matches tallying 1,302 minutes…he recorded three goals and one assist with seven points over the season…his final goal of the year came during a game against St. Mary’s (11/4) when he tallied a penalty kick to help the Hilltoppers win 3-2.
Prep: Lettered for three seasons at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas…was named first-team all-district in 2010…a part of the National Honor Society, Student Council and Men’s Service League…graduated in the top 25 percent of his class…helped lead his club team (Dallas Texans Red ’95) to the Gothia Cup Championships in 2008…same team won Dallas Cup title in 2009…with the Dallas Texans U16 Academy he won the USDA National Playoffs… was selected as a Dallas Cup Gordon Jago Super Group Competitor with the Dallas Texas U18 squad.
Personal: Jack Alexander Blanton was born on Sept. 19, 1994…son of Jeffrey and Gina Blanton of Dallas, Texas…has one sibling: Celeste (23)…majoring in business finance…some of his hobbies include playing disc golf, basketball, soccer, and participating in weightlifting…some of his activities include being a member of Watermark Community Church and Young Life…he is also interested in skydiving and wing suiting.
