• Hit a pinch-hit 3-run home run in the season opener vs. Midwestern State (Feb .3) to help SEU win, 12-4
• Had one multi-hit game when she went 2-for-5 with a run scored at Newman (April 22)

Appeared in 37 games while making 12 starts…registered seven RBI and posted a .976 fielding percentage…hit her first home run in a victory over Panhandle State (3/19).
 
HIGH SCHOOL:
A four-year letterwinner for head coach Jennifer Painter at Round Rock High School…three-time academic all-district selection…batted .302 as a junior while also producing a .929 fielding percentage…won the team’s Dragon Heart award…helped lead team to area round of playoffs all four seasons…member of the A/B Honor Roll.
 
PERSONAL: 
Shelbi Hunter Roohms was born June 10, 1997…daughter of J.J. and Kim Roohms…has one sibling: Chase … majoring in elementary education at St. Edward’s…also enjoys fishing, hunting, and wake boarding…describes her two biggest athletic thrills as starting on varsity as a freshman and getting an offer to play at St. Edward’s.
