Won eight varsity letters in cross country and track and field under Roberto Granados at Cuero High School...named all-area in 2012 for the 800 meter and 1600 meter events...Cuero High School record holder in the 1600 meters (5:34)...member of the first women's cross country team at CHS in 2013...qualified for regionals twice...district track champions in 2013 and 2014...honorable mention academic all-state in 2014...member of the National Honor Society and honored by Cuero school board for her promotion of Gobbler pride and spirit in the community … Volunteered with the Special Olympics

Alexandra Cherie Villafranca was born on June 19, 1997...daughter of Roland and Tammie Villafranca...has one sibling: Jocelyn...plans to major in management or kinesiology at St. Edward's and go into management or coaching...hobbies include: running, going out to eat, painting, watching movies, listening to music, being outdoors...breaking the CHS record in the 1600 meters and being a part of the 1600 meter relay in 2013 are her biggest athletic thrills.
