Junior (2013): Played in all 56 games, while starting 55 in her third season at St. Edward’s…registered 40 hits in 156 at-bats for a batting average of .256…scored 16 runs and brought in 28…recorded four doubles and a home run…had a slugging percentage of .301…tallied three RBI and two hits against Abilene Christian (02/02/13)…brought in three more runs and connected on three hits against Eastern New Mexico (03/02/13).
 
Sophomore (2012): In her second season on the Hilltop she was third on the team in batting average with .336 and second on the team with 21 runs scored…recorded a .464 slugging percentage…had seven doubles, two triples, and a homerun on the season…led the team with 26 RBI.
 
Freshman (2011): In her first year at St. Edward’s she appeared in 51 games while starting in 34…scored 11 runs on 13 hits during the season…hit one homerun on the year…brought in seven runs.
 
Prep: Played four years of softball at Hutto High School…her freshman season she was named to the all-district second-team…during her sophomore season she was the team captain and MVP…also earned a spot on the all-district first-team…helped her team go undefeated and win the district championship…her junior season she repeated as team captain and MVP…also repeated as an all-district selection…helped her team win the area championship…during her senior season she once again earned honors as team captain, MVP and all-district first-team…she won the district MVP…helped her team to a second area championship.
 
Personal: Kendall Therese Lucas was born on Jan. 15, 1992…daughter of Joe and Jackie Lucas of Hutto, Texas…has one sibling: Carissa (24)…currently studying accounting at St. Edward’s with a career goal of becoming a certified public accountant…she enjoys coaching softball, particularly the 14u Platinum softball team…her biggest athletic thrill was going 4-for-4 against St. Mary’s during the conference tournament…she also enjoyed competing at the regional tournament.
