Sophomore (2015-16): Tallied a 5-5 record in singles play and 5-5 doubles record…compiled a 1-0 record at No. 6 singles.
 
Freshman (2014-15): Compiled an overall record of 6-7 in singles play while going 1-4 in doubles tournament play...posted a 1-0 record playing No. 3 singles and went 3-4 at the No. 6 spot.

Prep: Competed at Coronado High School in El Paso, Texas...two-time all-district and all-city in 2013-14...member of the student council...graduated in 2014.

Personal: Vanessa Camara was born on December 15, 1995...daughter of Jorge and Marisol Camara...has one sibling: Jorge (25)...majoring in kinesiology at St. Edward's...hobbies include: tennis...qualifying for state her junior and senior year of high school is Vanessa's biggest athletic thrill.
