Junior (2014): Started 13 matches for the Hilltoppers…totaled 955 minutes of action…scored two goals and assisted on two more…registered a goal and an assist in a victory over West Texas A&M (9/20).
 
Sophomore (2013): Started in 14 matches and recorded 933 minutes…he recorded eight points on the year…took 31 shots with 15 on goal for four goals…his best game was against St. Mary’s (11/4) where he scored the golden goal for the Hilltoppers to become Heartland Conference Champions.
 
Freshman (2012): Started in all 18 matches for the Hilltoppers as a freshman… tallied five points on the year with two goals and one assist in 1,034 minutes of action… took 18 shots with nine on goal…his best performance was in season finale against Dallas Baptist (11/3) when he scored one goal and had one assist.

Prep: Competed on the soccer team for four years at Strake Jesuit High School…2011 all-Greater Houston first-team…2011 Memorial Herman athlete of the week…2011 leading goal scorer…2011 state semifinalists…2010 only starting sophomore on varsity…2010 state finalists.
 
Personal: Kyle Andreas Murphy Ruck was born on Dec. 16, 1992…son of Thomas and Dolores Ruck of Houston, Texas…has three brothers: Chris (29), Thomas (26), and Michael (16)…as well as three sisters: Callie (28), Kiara (24), and Hannah (15)…majoring in economics…enjoys building things during his spare time…biggest athletic thrill is going to state two years in a row.
