Prep: Competed for four years in cross country under coach Jim Pat Darcey at Katy High School…earned academic all-state honors…ran three years of track and field…graduated with honors.
 
Personal: Melissa Marie Gina Pollo was born on October 23, 1994…daughter of Susan Pollo and Bill Luce…has four siblings: Anthony, Anna, Damien, and Alexia…currently a senior international business major at St. Edward’s with a minor in environmental science and policy…hobbies include: exploring the outdoors, traveling, and long walks on the beach…finishing off her university career alongside St. Edward’s Women’s Cross Country team is Melissa’s biggest athletic thrill.
