Freshman (2014-15): As freshman appeared in 29 games for the Hilltoppers, averaging nine minutes and 30 seconds a game…averaged 4.3 points a game with 126 points on the season…collected 25 rebounds and blocked five shots…made his debut as a Hilltopper against Colorado Christian (11/14/14) with two points and two rebounds…had two break-out games against St. Mary’s, scoring a season-high 14 points (2/12/15) and another 12 points in the Heartland Conference Tournament (3/7/15). 

Prep: King lettered four seasons as a starter for Mumford High School…named first-team all-district, the district's MVP, first-team all-region, first-team all-Brazos Valley and first-team all-state in each of his first three seasons…he led all of TABC in three-pointers made (125) during his freshman season, and in free-throw percentage his sophomore season…King helped lead the Mustangs to an 113-9 record during his time at Mumford and the team finished as state runner-up the past two seasons…currently holds the school record in points (2,006), rebounds (1,217), assists (746), free-throw percentage (.840), and three-pointers made (259)…he is currently ranked as the 81st best player in Texas…King is trying to become on the fifth player in Texas High School Basketball history to be named first-team all-state…his junior season, he was named Texas Class A Player of the Year...he is also a standout on the baseball field and was named first-team all-state and the district's pitcher of the year.
