Junior (2015): Appeared in all 20 matches, making 19 starts, totaling 1872 minutes in the net…allowed only eight goals all season as he led the nation in goals-against average (0.43)…helped lead his team to a nation’s-best 0.70 shutout percentage…tallied a 13-3-2 record, while making 55 saves and tallying 10 shutouts…had a string 456 minutes without allowing a goal.
Sophomore (2014): Started all 20 matches for the Hilltoppers, totaling 1791 minutes in the net…allowed just 14 goals on the year for a 0.70 goals-against average…produced a 16-3-1 record, which broke the school record for wins, while making 59 saves and tallying nine shutouts…had a string of 427 minutes without allowing a goal that included three-straight shutouts.
Redshirt Freshman (2013): In his first active season he played in eight games for 384 minutes…had 14 saves over the season…his best game was against St. Mary’s (11/4) when he recorded six saves…also had a shutout victory over Newman (10/14).
Freshman (2012): Redshirted the season.
Prep: Played soccer, baseball, and football at Episcopal School of Dallas…while playing soccer he gave up the least number of goals in a four-year period in school history…earned all-district and all-state honors all four years in soccer and baseball…earned all-district and all-state honors in football his senior year…was named to the Headmaster’s Honor Roll…helped lead club team (Dallas Texans) to 2011 National League Championship…won the golden glove award two years.
Personal: Kevin Luis Leib was born on Nov. 16, 1993…majoring in accounting…enjoys playing sports and staying active within the community…knowing that he could play and compete at the collegiate level was a big athletic thrill.
