Sophomore (2011-12): In his sophomore year with the Hilltoppers, Rogers recorded a singles record of 5-6 and a 7-7 doubles record…his signature win once again came against Abilene Christian who was ranked #6 at the time…also defeated Abilene Christian during his doubles match with Otavio Perim…another doubles match that he won was against #11 Ouachita Baptist in the NCAA Regional…he and his partner Pedro Bronstrup won the match 9-8.
 
Freshman (2010-11): In his first year on the Hilltop, Rogers had an overall record of 13-12 in singles and 15-13 in doubles…his best win came against #10 Abilene Christian to clinch the match for his team as he took down John Strahl in three sets, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4…against Abilene Christian, he and his partner Alexandre Bueno won their doubles match.
 
Prep: Attended Mackay Christian College in Australia…also competed in Football and squash.
 
Personal: James Kenneth Rogers was born on Oct. 26, 1991…son of Ken and Angela Rogers of Australia…has two siblings: Ben (19) and Natalie (15)…currently majoring in psychology and minoring in kinesiology…hopes to become a psychologist or a business owner…enjoys wakeboarding, fishing, and riding dirt bikes…his biggest athletic thrill was winning the clinching match against Abilene Christian and UC-San Diego to give the team a victory.
