Sophomore (2015-16): Registered a 18-13 singles record and 20-9 record in doubles play overall…held a spotless record within the Heartland Conference in singles (5-0) and doubles (5-0)…playing primarily at the No. 1 singles spot, tallied a 9-10 record…played No. 1 doubles and notched a 17-7 record.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2014-15): Went undefeated in Heartland Conference singles play, going 5-0 in the league, and 10-9 overall…accumulated a doubles record of 10-10 on the spring…combined record of 20-19…went on a 5-0 from the start of the Heartland Conference Tournament through the first round of the NCAA Tournament…finished 7-2 in his last 10 matches.
 
Freshman (2013-14): Redshirted his freshman season.
 
Prep: Attended Delcampo International School.
 
Personal: Ricardo Francisco Pineda Paredes was born on Nov. 29, 1993…son of Octavio Pineda and Marcela Paredes of Tegucigalpa, Honduras…has three siblings: Octavio (23), Sofia (22), and Pedro (19)…majoring in business finance at St. Edwards with hopes of becoming a professional tennis player and then being able to start his own company…his hobbies include playing golf, soccer and Ping-Pong…also enjoys listening to music and watching movies…his biggest athletic thrill is winning.
