Junior (2016): Started all 50 games…split time between designated player and outfielder…led the team with a .370 batting average, runs scored (38), hits (60), and stolen bases (27)…ended the season gaining at least one hit in 15 of her last 17 games…stole three bases in a win over Panhandle State (3/19) and against Tarleton State (3/29)…registered 19 games with multiple hits.

Sophomore (2015): Appeared in 46 game while starting 39 of them…led the Hilltoppers in batting average (.418), on-base percentage (.462), and stolen bases (26)…only struck out four times in 148 plate appearances…had hitting streaks of 15 and eight games…tied her season-high for hits with three against St. Mary’s in the Heartland Conference Tournament…tallied 19 multiple-hit games.

Freshman (2014): Played in and started 33 games as a freshman…finished second on the team with a .383 batting average…finished tied for second on the team with 18 stolen base…recorded 41 hits while finishing second on the team with a .411 on base percentage…only struck out four times out of her 107 at bats…did not commit an error the entire season.

Prep: Played four years of softball and three years of basketball at Nacogdoches High School…was a four-year starter in softball and named co-newcomer of the year in 2010…named to the all-district first-team in 2011…awarded defensive player of the year in 2012…named honorable mention all-state by the Texas Sports Writers Association, along with being named first-team all-district and the district's offensive most valuable player in 2013...named academic all-district all four years on the softball team…a part of the National Honor Society and Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Personal: Tera Alexandra Mayfield was born on Feb. 28, 1995…daughter of Giundreo and Patricia Mayfield of Nacogdoches, Texas…has one sibling: Brian Sanders (31)… majoring in criminology…her hobbies include horseback riding, watching movies, playing softball, and spending time with family and friends…her biggest athletic thrill was winning the USFA World Series with Sneaky Cleats-Springer in 2010 in Panama City, Florida.
