Junior (2015): Appeared in 30 games, while making eight starts…produced seven hits and five RBI in 38 at-bats.
 
Sophomore (2014): Started in 15 games while appearing in 46 different games…finished the year with a .211 batting average and a .250 on base percentage…registered two of her three runs batted during a double header with Calumet College…had 100 putouts while registering a .981 fielding percentage with only two errors.
 
Freshman (2013): Played in 24 games and started in five in her first season at St. Edward’s…recorded four hits in 28 at bats for a .143 batting average…brought in one RBI…defensively, tallied a fielding percentage of .909…her first collegiate hit came against Tarleton State (02/02/13).
 
Prep: Played four years at Red Oak High School…during her sophomore season she was named to the all-district second-team…she was also on the academic all-district squad…she repeated her academic all-district honor in her junior season…helped her team to a playoff berth during her freshman, sophomore and senior seasons…was a member of the National Honor Society…also lettered in golf where she was all-district all four years.
 
Personal: Samantha Leigh Gilmore was born on Oct. 10, 1994…daughter of Freddie and Sheron Gilmore of Red Oak, Texas…has two siblings: Kim Robertson (49) and Christy Stenson (41)…plans to study psychology with career hopes of becoming a sports psychologist…enjoys playing golf and softball…her biggest athletic thrill is watching professional softball and attending the College World Series.
