Khiani Clark '17 returned to the Hilltop and was hired as the women's basketball assistant coach in August of 2022 after serving a year as the graduate assistant.
Prior to joining Riehl back on the court, Clark played professionally overseas in Australia for the Wagga Blaze of the Australian Basketball NSW Waratah League.
A native of Round Rock, Texas, Clark attended Westwood High School. She began her collegiate playing career at UTGRV before transferring to St. Edward's University in 2014 where she was a part of 2016-2017 Heartland Conference Championship team and lead the team to an NCAA Qualifier. During her time as a Hilltopper, Clark started all of the 56 games, nearly averaged a double-double, along with setting multiple records including field goal percentage for a single game and in the top-10 all-time in program history for field goal percentage, rebounds, and rebounding average. Clark also has several post-season accolades including Honorable Mention All-Heartland Conference, Heartland Conference All-Tournament Team in 2015, 2016-2017 Heartland Conference Tournament MVP, and Heartland Conference Commissioners Honor Roll in 2016.
Clark earned a bachelor's degree in special education from St. Edward's University in 2016.
