St. Edward's University Athletics

Freshman (2014-15): Appeared in 17 games, while making one start for St. Edward’s…averaged 3.1 points per contest while shooting .690 from the free-throw line…scored a career-high 17 points and pulled down six rebounds in a victory over Paul Quinn (11/22/14).
 
Prep: Lettered three seasons at Del Valle High School…named second-team all-district her junior season, averaging 18 points, six rebounds and four assists as the point guard for the Cardinals her senior season…has a personal best of 31 points and helped lead her team to the playoffs her freshman season…was named academic all-district all three seasons in high school…a member of the National Honor Society and the A&B Honor Roll all three years…also competed on the volleyball and track teams at Del Valle HS.

Personal: Essence Myshon Sauls was born on Dec. 5, 1995…daughter of Sheronda and Kenneth Sauls of Del Valle, Texas…has one sibling: Emerald (12)…intends to study biology and aspires to become a pediatrician…enjoys sports and working out…her biggest athletic thrill is her personal best 31 points and being named Academic All District for four years.
